Cute, Cozy Container + Outdoor Bath near Montville

We had a fantastic stay at Nelly and would happily return. The container was beautifully set up, incredibly cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. One of the best parts of the stay was being able to bring our two dogs along. The property felt welcoming and well-suited for a pet-friendly escape, and they had just as much fun exploring and relaxing as we did. The peaceful surroundings, thoughtful touches, and unique accommodation made for a memorable stay. If you're looking for a quiet retreat near Montville where you can truly switch off and unwind, we highly recommend Nelly.

My partner and I spent 2 nights at the Nelly Woods with our two dogs and had the most peaceful and magical time. The container unit was vibrant, fun and clean. The bed was comfortable and the window walls made for a perfect wake up, especially with a bit of rainfall. Our dogs had a joyful time with freedom in our private area. The fireplace being slightly covered allowed for ongoing fire even with an smidge of rain, keeping us warm and cosy all stay long. So much thought and time has gone into creating this sanctuary; from the over head shower, to the pizza oven and Weber grill, to the board games under the bed and starter food and goodies provided. Every bit contributed to a lovely stay. Esther and Joost make amazing hosts; easy to chat to and quick to help in anyway. Their son is an especially good helper, bringing us up firewood and cuddling our furry friends. We will definitely be back soon for another peaceful getaway! - Jordan :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts went above and beyond to help me plan the perfect surprise for my husband’s 40th by organising balloons, a beautiful platter, wine and thoughtful touches that made it so special. The property itself was incredibly relaxing. The attention to detail was amazing, everything we needed to truly switch off and recharge was there. We loved soaking in the hot bath under the stars in the evenings, enjoying the fireplace (with marshmallows included!), and making the most of the Weber and pizza oven so we didn’t need to leave for a thing. We loved how private it was too! It was also such a treat to bring our dog, she had so much grass to run around on that she was in absolute heaven. Honestly, she looked like she thought it was her birthday too. We’re so grateful for such a memorable and peaceful stay and would absolutely recommend it.

We had such an amazing stay, I honestly don’t know who enjoyed it more us or the dog. Absolutely everything you need and more for a weekend away.
