Cute, Cozy Container + Outdoor Bath near Montville

Enjoyed the most restful getaway in this beautiful container home. The property is so scenic and peaceful, our lil dachshunds loved this home away from home!

I booked Nelly for a few nights with my cocker spaniel Biggie. It was a fun couple of days of sun baking and relaxing and throwing the ball. Good times were had by all.

We had the most wonderful stay at Nelly. The accommodation was beautifully presented, incredibly peaceful and had everything I needed for a relaxing couple of days. I spent my time sitting by the fire with a glass of wine, listening to the birds, reading, cooking simple meals in the pizza oven and completely switching off from work. My dog absolutely loved the fully fenced acre. He spent his days chasing birds, playing soccer and exploring, then curled up beside the fire each evening. I don’t think he wanted to leave! Esther and Joost were wonderful hosts. Their communication was warm, thoughtful and welcoming from the moment I booked. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy some quality time with your dog, I couldn’t recommend Nelly more highly. We’ll definitely be back.

Perfect escape for our first family holiday with our pup Ava, we had an absolute blast at this tiny not so tiny hide away (the yard was massive for Ava to sniff and run) amazing atmosphere and the stars were WOW! The fire pit and outdoor bath were to die for which also accomodated our pup safely! Esther, Joost, Liam and Hunter were so accomdating and available if we needed absolutly anything and their recommendations for places to explore were spot on!

We had a fantastic stay at Nelly and would happily return. The container was beautifully set up, incredibly cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. One of the best parts of the stay was being able to bring our two dogs along. The property felt welcoming and well-suited for a pet-friendly escape, and they had just as much fun exploring and relaxing as we did. The peaceful surroundings, thoughtful touches, and unique accommodation made for a memorable stay. If you're looking for a quiet retreat near Montville where you can truly switch off and unwind, we highly recommend Nelly.
